Mind Your Monkey I teach Business Law to Chinese students here in Nanjing. I asked a question about a law meant to keep dogs on a leash and how it would apply if a man had a pet monkey instead of a dog. I wanted the “legal” reason why he would be held responsible if the monkey bit a child, but one student wrote, “The man fail to control his monkey effectively. Therefore he should take responsibility for his monkey when it go wild.” The stories to the left have been published in the Fairfield Citizen, Connecticut USA. |
